mudac - musée de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains

mudac – Lausanne’s Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts – is the only institution in Western Switzerland entirely dedicated to design.

From this autumn onwards, the mudac will continue to welcome you for Les Rendez-vous 2020-2022.

These appointments offer a variety of events such as collaborations with festivals, offbeat conferences on the world of design or on the launch of new issues of RADDAR, our Annual Design Review. A large-scale artistic performance by an internationally renowned Swiss artist will also take place on the day the keys to the new building at PLATEFORME 10 will be held over. Walking tours of Lausanne offering a ground-breaking exploration of themes linked to design.

Access

Public transportation: métro M2 stop Bessières; bus 6, 7 or 66 stop Bessières; bus 16 stop Pont Bessières.

From the train station CFF: métro M2, direction Sallaz/Croisettes, stop Bessières.

By car: Coming from the north of Lausanne, exit Lausanne-Vennes, then follow “Centre/toutes directions”.

Coming from the south of Lausanne, exit Lausanne-Maladière, then follow “Centre”.

Closest parkings: Riponne, Mon-Repos or Rôtillon.

Mobility-impaired

The museum is accessible to people in wheelchairs, except for two rooms on the second floor (glass art collection). The life is 90 cm wide (door) and 210 cm long.
